YOLO Welcomes Rishi Sunak: Supporting Local Business and Our Community

On the 16th of January 2026, we were proud to welcome our local MP and former Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, to the YOLO offices in Richmond. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to showcase who we are, what we do, and why we are so passionate about building successful, forward-thinking businesses right here in our local community.

As a Richmond-based business, YOLO is proud to be the parent company behind Simply Hammocks, Amazonas, and Scayl. Three brands united by a shared focus on quality, innovation and customer experience. Having Rishi Sunak visit us in person was a real highlight for the whole team and a moment we won’t forget.

A Proud Moment for Our Richmond Team

From the moment Rishi arrived with his press team, the atmosphere in our office was buzzing. It was a pleasure to show him around our workspace,   an office we are incredibly proud of and one that reflects the creativity, collaboration and ambition of our team.

He took the time to meet colleagues from across the business, chat with our team members, and learn about the different roles that make YOLO and our brands thrive. It was great to see genuine interest in how we operate day-to-day and how each part of the business contributes to our overall success.

During the visit, we had the opportunity to talk in detail about YOLO as a parent company, and how each of our brands plays a unique role:

• Scayl – Delivering innovative packaging machinery solutions for modern businesses

We shared how our brands have grown, how we support customers nationwide, and how being based in Richmond has shaped our values as a business. From product development to customer service and logistics, it was important to show how much care and expertise goes into everything we do.

Showcasing Innovation and What We Do Best

One of the highlights of the visit was showing Rishi our working environment in action. He even had a go at using some of the Scayl machinery, giving him a hands-on look at the technology and processes behind our packaging solutions.

These moments really brought our work to life and demonstrated the innovation, skill and teamwork that sit behind our brands. It was a great chance to show how businesses like ours combine traditional values with modern technology to stay competitive and continue growing.
