YOLO acquires Cosmetics Lab
We’re excited to announce that we have recently acquired Horsham-based cosmetics manufacturer, Cosmetics Laboratories. They’ve been operating for over 15 years, and we’re excited to be taking on this company and taking them in a new direction under our award-winning retail group in partnership with cosmetic industry expert Ian Dawson.
Cosmetics Laboratories was first founded in 2008 and has built a reputation for formulating, manufacturing and testing a range of cosmetics, at their UK production and inhouse laboratory facility. Over the years the business has worked with leading brands like Elemis, and other popular products that can be found in high street retailers like Superdrug. Sadly, the owner and driving force of the business recently passed away, resulting in the business going into Administration. Both YOLO and Ian Dawson rescued the company and are now focused on restructing it.
What’s new with Cosmetics Lab?
The team has been reconstructed and management reinvigorated. This means that they have a carefully curated team with family-like values that work together efficiently. Therefore, both their customers and employees are looked after well. Their team consists of experts and hard workers, who are extremely productive given their drive and passion for the company and the team.
Additionally, they’ve also moved just across the road to a bigger and better warehouse. This warehouse has been upgraded and modernized to meet today’s market needs. Upgrading the warehouse fits in with the dedication to investing in new technologies and equipment so that Cosmetics Lab can always manufacture new and high-quality products. Cosmetics lab has also got a brand new and shiny website, so our clients will be able to keep up to date with these modern developments.
Why are we doing all of this?
Well, simply put, we are fully aware of the need to revitalize the company and from this point forward we’re focusing Cosmetics Lab on being driven in a customer-lead direction and with a fresher and more youthful approach. Cosmetics Lab is all about putting clients first and exciting things are to come, working with old faces and new ones. We are also planning on launching our own range of cosmetics, from some of the formulations library they have amassed over the years.
